SalaryA competitive salary package, including monthly incentives, extra leave, birthday off, paid parental leave, health benefits, recognition rewards, and social events. Estimated annual salary: $85,000 - $110,000 AUD.
Job DescriptionAs a Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant at KINNECT, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services that help individuals engage in meaningful occupations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing injured workers to determine the best strategies for facilitating their return to work.
- Visiting workplaces to understand the challenges injured workers may face and educating employers on injury prevention.
- Providing clinical opinions and justifications through detailed report writing.
- Case managing complex injuries and coordinating with treating doctors and health professionals to support injured workers in their recovery and return to work.
You will also partner with various organizations to deliver a range of other services, such as:
- Conducting pre-employment assessments, including drug & alcohol testing, audiology, spirometry, vision, and functional testing.
- Developing job dictionaries.
- Performing manual task risk assessments.
- Leading interactive manual handling training and implementing stretching and warm-up programs.
- Conducting ergonomic assessments in workplace, home, and vehicle settings.
We are seeking professionals with a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, physical therapy, or rehabilitation counselling, with the ability to obtain registration with AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC, or RCAA. Accredited Exercise Physiologists should be able to obtain ESSA registration. Experience working within ACC (NZ accident compensation scheme) is highly desirable.
