Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at Kinnect. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering workplace rehabilitation services that help individuals engage in meaningful occupations through a client-centered approach, promoting optimal health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Assessing injured workers to determine the best strategies for facilitating their return to work.
- Visiting workplaces to understand the challenges injured workers may face and educating employers on injury prevention.
- Providing clinical opinions and justifications through detailed report writing.
- Case managing complex injuries and coordinating with treating doctors and health professionals to support injured workers in their recovery and return to work.
- Conducting pre-employment assessments, including drug & alcohol testing, audiology, spirometry, vision, and functional testing.
- Developing job dictionaries.
- Performing manual task risk assessments.
- Leading interactive manual handling training and implementing stretching and warm-up programs.
- Conducting ergonomic assessments in workplace, home, and vehicle settings.
