Rehabilitation Counselor Opportunity

Job Overview:

As a rehabilitation counselor, you will collaborate with individuals who have suffered injuries to aid in their recovery and return to work. This role requires empathy, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those recovering from injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized case management plans for various clients.
  • Deliver tailored counseling services to support individuals navigating career changes or uncertainty.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, specialists, employers, and other stakeholders to facilitate positive outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Provisional Psychologist (AHPRA membership and external supervision) or Rehabilitation Counsellor (Full or Associate ASORC membership).
  • A demonstrated passion for occupational rehabilitation.
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a psychology-related field.
  • Current Police clearance and Working with Children Check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
