The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated sales professional to join our team as a Customer Support Representative for our Newcastle and North Coast region. This role will involve selling market-leading products and services across the Hitachi range, with a focus on business development and account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling customer inquiries and ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Promoting and generating parts and service sales streams to increase revenue
  • Conducting customer machine inspections to identify areas for improvement
  • Developing and presenting sales pitches to new and existing customers
  • Liaising with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in sales or customer service within the mining, construction, or earthmoving industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills to assess customer needs and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
