Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned leader to fill the role of Associate Director. As a key member of our Workforce Planning and Talent Development team, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the direction and performance of the organization.

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in government or the broader public sector, and exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. They will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, balance strategic priorities with day-to-day operations, and build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Lead a team of six, ensuring effective delivery of organizational priorities across the health system
  • Provide trusted advice and high-level communications on behalf of the Executive Director
  • Act as the primary executive contact, ensuring issues and requests are managed with accuracy, timeliness, and influence
  • Build strong partnerships across the organization and with external stakeholders to deliver workforce priorities
  • Oversee planning and reporting, aligning organizational activities with strategic goals
  • Anticipate risks and emerging issues, and develop strategies that support informed decision making and timely responses
  • Demonstrate flexibility by contributing across both strategic and operational tasks

Candidates should have tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience, with a strong commitment to ongoing growth and professional development. Experience building trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders is also essential.
