As a strategic workforce advisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving business success through data-driven decision making.

You will be responsible for leveraging your analytical skills and expertise to provide insights that inform strategic workforce planning, productivity improvement, and customer experience enhancement.

The Strategic Workforce Planning team is accountable for long- and short-term forecasting, scheduling, real-time support, WFM system maintenance, and Future Workforce initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and transform complex data sets to enable timely and accurate volume forecasting
  • Deliver actionable insights that contribute to the optimisation of workforces, customers' experiences, and drive business leaders to make informed decisions
  • Empower leaders to create flexible workforces that adapt to changing customer needs and expectations
  • Utilise data and advanced analytics techniques to identify opportunities for innovation, process optimisation, and continuous improvement
  • Embed workforce planning practices within businesses and provide insights to facilitate data-driven decision making
  • Support the development of new analytical solutions and application of advanced techniques
  • Identify opportunities to improve own capabilities and demonstrate creativity and ingenuity when tackling complex challenges

What will set you up for success?

  • Strong demonstrated experience in data analysis, forecasting, and strategic workforce planning
  • Proven stakeholder management experience, with the ability to support requirements definition, report scope, and planning

We're interested in hearing from professionals who have:

  • Experience in predictive modelling, time series forecasting (ARIMA, STL, ETS), A/B testing, spatial analytics, and workforce optimisation (linear programming)
  • Display an understanding of quantitative activities such as scenario forecast modelling and workforce analytics to generate actionable insights from complex data
  • Experience with large data sets and data analysis tools such as SQL, SAS
  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification or industry experience (computer science, statistics, mathematics, workforce planning, contact centre or related disciplines)
  • Possess knowledge of Financial Services industry and/or Banking Operations (highly regarded)
