About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This role involves providing high-level analysis and advice on governance, strategy, policies, and procedures. You will be responsible for framing information and recommendations to support effective decision-making and meet organisational objectives.

You will also lead initiatives and manage teams to improve strategic alignment of operational policies, processes, and practices.

Additionally, you will provide accurate and timely advice to support divisional functions in line with legislation, delegations, directives, standards, policy, and procedure, and relevant frameworks.

You must be able to identify critical issues, manage strategic initiative risks, and coordinate and lead discussions with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Furthermore, you will lead the development of reports, submissions, and presentations ensuring they are clear, evidence-informed, and conceptually sound.

Last but not least, you will drive a culture of continuous improvement and ensure that staff across the department are trained in standards and expectations relating to quality service delivery.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must be confident to lead through change, model integrity, inspire a sense of shared purpose and direction, and make sound and measured decisions relating to a range of portfolio matters.

The ideal applicant will have demonstrated experience in leading, motivating, and managing teams and others to achieve objectives.

High-level interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as well as an ability to effectively and concisely summarise pertinent information to enable informed decision-making.

Analytical and conceptual skills, along with a proven ability to present complex concepts clearly, are also required.

Demonstrated experience managing corporate programs, projects, and processes at an organisational level, and the ability to deal with ambiguity and shifting priorities, are also essential.
