Education Facilitator

About the Role
This is a full-time fixed-term position based in North Ryde, NSW, reporting directly to the Team Leader, Centre for Dementia Learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering, assessing, and evaluating structured professional education sessions, both accredited and non-accredited.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver education services face-to-face at various locations, including Aged Care Facilities, public venues, and via online video conferencing platforms.
- Assist in strengthening relationships with organisations by promoting Dementia Australia programs and services.
- Utilise a continuous improvement approach to all tasks and initiatives, including reviewing and developing courses, ensuring programs comply with professional standards, and delivering education to the highest standard.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate field, including but not limited to; allied health, nursing, leisure and lifestyle.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, delivery, and assessment of adult education.
- Demonstrated experience of professionally working with people living with dementia.
- Demonstrates inclusive behaviour, listens, values, and acknowledges others, is open and respectful to the contributions and ideas of others.
- Continually develops and applies specialist and technical skills and expertise to achieve work outcomes.
- Embraces learning and development opportunities and welcomes constructive feedback.
- A valid driver's licence is required due to frequent travel.
