Role Overview
The School Liaison Support Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful onboarding and ongoing support of schools utilizing the "My Mind Check" tool. This position involves collaborating with schools to plan the implementation of the tool, providing technical assistance, and ensuring educators can effectively utilize the tool to enhance student well-being.
The Voluntary Mental Health Check Tool (VMHCT) Project is dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of school students through a digital assessment tool. The project collaborates with experts, educational departments, and various stakeholders to ensure the tool meets the needs of Australian schools. The "My Mind Check" tool helps schools identify students at risk and provides recommendations for care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist schools in planning the implementation of the "My Mind Check" tool
- Provide technical support to schools
- Ensure educators can effectively use the tool to enhance student well-being
About You
You will have relevant qualifications (such as a diploma or Bachelors degree in education or psychology) and/or equivalent experience in customer service, preferably in education, health, or mental health sectors. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be critical to effectively facilitating meetings with school staff, as will your excellent computer, database management, and applications skills.
