We are partnering with a leading agribusiness to find an experienced Key Account Manager - Bio-Fertiliser Specialist.
Job Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join our client's team and play a key role in driving business growth through effective account management and new business development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve target revenue growth within the horticulture production systems market;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our bio-fertiliser products;
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation activities;
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns that drive demand creation;
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of products and services to customers;
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales revenue, customer satisfaction, and market penetration;
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the agribusiness or related industry;
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue within a territory or region;
- Strong understanding of the horticulture production systems market and its dynamics;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers at all levels;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork;
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage sales activities and customer relationships;
