We are seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our Affinity practice team at Marsh Pty Ltd.

This hybrid role will be based in Adelaide or Sydney office, requiring at least three days of on-site work per week. As an Account Executive, you will implement Client First Principles across your medium to large account portfolio, ensuring top-notch customer service and consistent revenue attainment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve agreed service standards consistently.
  • Foster long-term relationships with key client decision makers and stay up-to-date on changes to preserve these relationships.
  • Take a proactive approach to account management and service delivery, identifying and meeting client needs.
  • Utilize negotiation skills to provide favorable outcomes for clients and the organization while maintaining insurer partner relationships.
  • Implement successful account retention and defense strategies.
  • Assist claims colleagues in negotiating equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of major General insurance classes and stay updated on new technical and product developments.
  • Stay informed about relevant legislation, including the Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Act and Insurance Contracts Act.

About the Ideal Candidate:

  • Tier 1 qualified.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in insurance broking or underwriting.
  • Experience managing a portfolio and handling small to medium commercial accounts.
  • Proficient in placing and advising on various insurance classes, including Public Liability and Management Liability.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent delivery of technical, administrative, and consulting support to clients.
