About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Logistics Manager to join our team at Boral Cement Limited. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Victorian Cement Logistics Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fleet Management: Manage a fleet of 40 company drivers and a contractor network, ensuring safe, reliable delivery of cement products to customers.
  • Cost Management: Review costs and manage contract negotiations to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with capital and maintenance programs, as well as Chain of Responsibility regulations.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, including subcontractors and rail providers.
Requirements
  • Transport Industry Background: Proven experience in transport/supply chain/logistics management, preferably with tertiary qualifications in supply chain or logistics.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead people and manage HR/IR issues effectively.
  • Financial Management: Strong cost management skills and ability to manage budgets effectively.
  • OHS Experience: Certificate IV in OHS or equivalent, with risk management and safety management experience.
