Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to join our Ground Transport division at Truganina VIC. As a Fleet Controller, you will be responsible for planning and managing deliveries on our local and regional PUD fleet, ensuring effective utilization of CEVA subcontractors and contract carriers against customer and statutory requirements.



Key Responsibilities



  • Plan and manifest timely and efficient delivery of freight to meet DIFOT and cost management targets.
  • Book additional ad-hoc transport as required.
  • Provide manifests and appropriate paperwork to dispatching depots.
  • Liaise with depot supervisors and team leaders to ensure timely loading of PUD vehicles.
  • Report and investigate incidents, hazards, and non-compliances, implementing corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Resolve service and operational issues promptly.
  • Ensure runs comply with all statutory and company requirements, including driver fatigue and load restraint.
  • Complete critical processes in our Transport Management System within required timeframes.


Requirements and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • Experience in fleet planning, allocation, or coordination roles within the transport sector.
  • Basic to intermediate skills in MS Office applications, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Good written and verbal communication, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, suggest solutions, or escalate as required.

Estimated Salary Range


The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
