Job Title: Fleet Supervisor - Cement LogisticsOverview:

This role involves overseeing the Victorian Cement Logistics Operations for the Boral Cement business. You will be responsible for managing fleet safely, effectively and efficiently, focusing on employee drivers as well as subcontractors to ensure the safe, in-full and on-time delivery of Cement product to Boral's customers.


Responsibilities:
  • Fleet Management: Manage and oversee a fleet of 40 company drivers and a contractor network to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Assist allocations teams to meet customer DIFOT and Grade of Service objectives.
  • Cost Management: Review costs and manage contract negotiations to optimize fleet utilization.

Requirements:
  • Transportation Background: Proven track record in transport/supply chain/logistics industry and fleet management.
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in supply chain, logistics, inter-modal transport (desired).
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Risk Management: Possess a Certificate IV in OHS with risk management and safety management experience.
