About the Role

The Logistics Fleet Operations Specialist will play a critical role in the day-to-day planning of deliveries on the local and regional PUD fleet within their scope of responsibility. This includes ensuring effective utilisation of CEVA sub-contractors and contract carriers against customer and statutory requirements.

Job Description

This position involves:

  • Planning and manifesting the timely and efficient delivery of freight to meet DIFOT and cost management targets.
  • Booking additional ad-hoc transport as required.
  • Ensuring the dispatching depot receives manifests and appropriate paperwork.
  • Liaising with depot supervisors and team leaders to ensure timely loading of PUD vehicles.
  • Investigating and resolving service and/or operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring runs are compliant with all statutory and company requirements, including driver fatigue and load restraint.
  • Managing critical processes in our Transport Management System within required timeframes.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to this, you can expect a range of employee benefits designed to support your wellbeing and career growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic to intermediate skills in MS Office applications, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Good written and verbal communication, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, know when to seek advice, suggest solutions or escalate as required.
