The Associate Corporate Counsel role is a pivotal position within our organization, focused on supporting the dynamic and growing business of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Sydney. This key position encompasses responsibilities for the Asia-Pacific region, with a specific emphasis on Australia & New Zealand.

This includes drafting high-value agreements with AWS's enterprise customers and partners, encompassing IT service agreements and technology licensing agreements. The successful candidate will also spearhead regional and global initiatives addressing emerging regulatory issues, while contributing to AWS's growth.

As a strategic advisor, you will provide day-to-day counsel for senior executives, drive key business development initiatives, and handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.

This opportunity calls for a proactive and entrepreneurial individual with strong written and oral communication skills, as well as sound judgment in ambiguous situations.

We seek candidates with a law degree from a leading law school and 2+ years of legal experience, preferably with familiarity with IT infrastructure, outsourcing, cloud computing, AI/ML, or consulting contracts.
