Job Title: Senior Legal Advisor

We are seeking a highly experienced senior legal advisor to support our business in delivering strategic, commercial legal advice across financial services law, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

About the Role
  • To provide trusted legal support to the Board and Committees, including preparation of high-quality Board papers and governance materials.
  • To deliver strategic, commercial legal advice across financial services law, corporate governance, ASX Listing Rules, capital markets, managed investment schemes, and funds management.
  • To design and implement compliance programs to ensure ongoing adherence to AFSL obligations and evolving ASIC and ASX regulatory standards.
  • To support the preparation and submission of ASIC and ASX regulatory filings and disclosures.
  • To work closely with Finance and Corporate Affairs teams on corporate reporting.
  • To play a central role in shaping enterprise-wide legal matters and strategic initiatives.
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • Admission as a lawyer in Australia.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a senior lawyer, with a background in financial services law, corporate advisory and governance.
  • Experience gained at a top-tier or leading mid-tier law firm and/or a combination of in-house legal and company secretariat roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • A commercial mindset and ability to influence strategic decision-making through clear, practical legal guidance.
