Job Title

Legal Counsel - Corporate and Commercial

  • Assist in the provision of corporate, commercial and financial services legal advice and governance advice to all businesses.
  • Understand legal and regulatory obligations and industry issues impacting the organisation and its members.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review marketing material for legal compliance.
  • Provide legal advice on contracts, insurance products and statutory interpretation.
  • Litigation support for corporate litigation and complaints resolution.
  • Staff legal training and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications (LLB or equivalent).
  • Current practising certificate as a solicitor in Australia.
  • Minimum 3 years' post qualification experience in a mid or top-tier firm.
  • Private practice experience in providing commercial legal advice.
