We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The successful candidate will act as a primary point of contact for a site and be a contributing member of the EUC Team, providing support to end-users in a client environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acts as a primary point of contact for a site and a contributing member of the EUC Team.
- Provides support to end-users in a client environment.
- Works on incident resolution and request fulfillment aligned to the ITIL framework.
- Involved in IMAC-D for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment and peripherals.
- Learns new and emerging technologies as needed, guided by business requirements.
Requirements and Preferences:
- 1+ year of experience in computer software and hardware troubleshooting, Windows operating system as a field tech (desktop or deskside support).
- Good understanding of the ITIL framework.
- Experience in using ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.
- Good communication skills (written and spoken) in English.
- Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Travel, including overnight domestic trips, will be required.
