Your Role

This is a National Technical Support Specialist position that provides pre and post technical support to the organisation in ANZ.

Key responsibilities include developing effective relationships with key customers, distributor partners, consultants, and CI partners to help them realise value from expert technical advice in relation to structured cabling solutions.

You will also engage and support the global collaboration of the Global Technical group to ensure global alignment of communication with the other technical team members.

This role reports to the Regional Sales Director for ANZ.

About the Team

Molex Connected Enterprise Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a National Technical Support Specialist to work with our team.

Role type: Full time, remote (not office based). Can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and onsite technical support where required to the organisation
  • Work proactively with the sales team to ensure the role is seen as value add to the business on an ongoing basis
  • Collaborate with other global technical staff to share and collate technical information
  • Provide interaction and contribution with the online Customer Service Portal system
  • Maintain and update required records, testing parameters and other information

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years in a similar role
  • Good understanding of the current Structured Cabling marketplace in ANZ and strong technical knowledge in copper and fibre Structured Cabling Solutions
  • Able to travel to customers as needed
