This Administration and Financial Support role is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Red Hill, QLD. As an integral part of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing efficient accounting and administrative support to enhance services at Brisbane Recovery Services Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accounting assistance including generating invoices, paying accounts, banking, journal entries, client fees (trust), payroll, petty cash, and assisting with bank reconciliations.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the finance team, ensuring prompt and efficient customer service to internal and external customers through phone, face-to-face, and online enquiries.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement by participating in team activities, attending staff meetings, and demonstrating a supportive approach to other staff members.
Requirements
  • An accounting or business certificate/training is essential for this role.
  • You will need to be self-motivated, have a high level of initiative, and possess strong work ethic.
  • Solid presentation and communication skills are required to interact positively with a variety of people.
  • Good attention to detail and computer literacy in MS Office and computerized accounting systems and databases are also necessary.
  • Previous experience in accounting, preferably with some level of autonomy, is highly desirable.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience).
