Job Title: Procurement Support Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Support Officer to join our team at Empire Group. As a Procurement Support Officer, you will provide administrative support to the Procurement team, ensuring the smooth operation of procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage purchase orders
- Review and enter information into the internal database
- Issue tenders for works and services
- Provide administrative support to the Procurement section
- Maintain knowledge of legislative and departmental requirements for procurement
Requirements:
- Prior experience in an administrative/support role
- Prior experience in procurement/purchasing is highly desirable
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrate initiative and be a team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic to intermediate MS Office Suite skills
