Job Title: Procurement Support Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Support Officer to join our team at Empire Group. As a Procurement Support Officer, you will provide administrative support to the Procurement team, ensuring the smooth operation of procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage purchase orders
  • Review and enter information into the internal database
  • Issue tenders for works and services
  • Provide administrative support to the Procurement section
  • Maintain knowledge of legislative and departmental requirements for procurement

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in an administrative/support role
  • Prior experience in procurement/purchasing is highly desirable
  • High attention to detail
  • Demonstrate initiative and be a team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic to intermediate MS Office Suite skills
