Procurement Support Officer Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Support Officer to join our team at Empire Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage purchase orders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Review and enter information into our internal database to maintain accurate records and facilitate efficient procurement processes.
  • Issue tenders for works and services, ensuring compliance with legislative and departmental requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the Procurement team, including maintaining up-to-date knowledge of procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in an administrative or support role, with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic to intermediate MS Office Suite skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
