Clinical Optometry Support Specialist

Role Overview:
This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our optometrists in a clinical setting, providing administrative and clinical support. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, possess exceptional attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Combine receptionist duties with critical business support activities to enhance practice functionality and patient care
- Provide direct support to our Optometrist
- Assist with contact lens teaching and dry eye treatments (training will be provided)
- Maintain organised and up-to-date patient records
- Potential opportunity to manage and create content for the practice's social media accounts
Requirements:
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and provide support to fellow team members in a dynamic practice environment
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in eye care, with an interest in contact lens management and dry eye treatments
- Proficient in administrative tasks and computer systems
- Maintain a polished, professional demeanor and appearance at all times
- Customer service oriented with a friendly and patient approach
