Procurement Support Officer

Empire Group is seeking a highly motivated and organized Procurement Support Officer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Review and enter information into the internal database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Issue works/services tenders, adhering to departmental and legislative requirements
- Provide administrative support to the Procurement team, as required
- Maintain knowledge of legislative and departmental requirements for procurement, promoting awareness among departmental staff
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative/support role
- Prior experience in procurement/purchasing is highly desirable
- High attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic to intermediate MS Office Suite skills
