We are seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead our organisation into its next phase of growth and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term strategies that align with our Vision, Purpose, Values and strategic objectives.
- Inspire, motivate, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a positive culture of respect, collaboration and compassion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government and non-government stakeholders, community partners, and the broader community.
- Oversight of day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient use of resources, compliance with regulations, and delivery of high-quality services.
- Financial stewardship, ensuring the financial health of the organisation, developing sustainable revenue streams and managing budgets effectively.
- Champion new initiatives and approaches that enhance service delivery and expand the organisation's reach and impact.
About You
- A strategic and dynamic leader with a proven track record in senior management roles.
- Possess a deep understanding of social impact and embody the values that drive our work – respect, compassion, courage, resilience, and collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with empathy, while making tough decisions with integrity.
Educational Background and Experience
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a purpose-driven organisation or sector.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving sustainable growth.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- A track record of leading teams with respect and compassion, fostering a culture of collaboration and empowerment.
- Demonstrated resilience and courage in navigating complex challenges and making difficult decisions.
- A forward-thinking, innovative mindset, with a passion for driving continuous improvement.
Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 AUD, based on industry standards and the level of experience required.
