At Talent International, we're seeking a highly skilled Strategic Risk Governance Leader to join our Fremantle-based team. This pivotal role ensures that risk treatment aligns with strategic objectives and supports visitor safety, work health and safety (WHS), and governance practices.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop treatment plans aligned with our organisation's framework.
- Manage the Risk Register (strategic and operational) and report to the Executive and Board.
- Enhance risk management systems, reporting, and planning processes.
- Maintain and test the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and framework.
- Provide advisory oversight on Visitor Risk Management.
- Lead WHS initiatives, including incident reporting, hazard assessments, and corrective actions.
- Deliver training to improve staff awareness of risk management and business continuity.
- Maintain governance frameworks, including the Schedule of Delegations and Authorisations.
- Manage KPIs, set annual targets, and report outcomes.
- Experienced in risk management, including identification, treatment, and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in drafting policies, governance materials, and correspondence.
- Skilled in research, analysis, and providing actionable policy and procedure advice.
- Committed to equity, diversity, and fostering a safe workplace.
This is a Perth-based position, and only candidates with full working rights will be considered. The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
