The role of District Manager is a vital position within our organization, responsible for driving the expansion of our product reach and profit revenues in the SME market.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of our product and service offerings through training sessions, identifying prospective clients and sales opportunities within designated market segments, and promoting our products and services at industry networking functions.
In addition to these key responsibilities, successful candidates will possess excellent sales skills, with a proven track record of identifying, hunting, and closing new business. They will also have experience explaining complex systems to non-technical clients, as well as completing sales forecasting and creating and delivering sales proposals and presentations.
Certifications and qualifications required for this role include tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in business, management, or marketing, as well as professional presentation skills training.
Required Skills:- Sales experience in business-to-business selling
- Previous experience in a solution sales environment
- Proven track record of identifying, hunting, and closing new business
- Demonstrated experience in explaining complex systems to non-technical clients
- Previous experience in developing proposals and quotes
- Experience networking at industry events
- Previous experience in completing sales forecasting
- Experience in a role requiring the creation and delivery of sales proposals and presentations
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
- Professional presentation skills training
