Maersk is seeking a skilled Market Expansion Specialist to identify, develop and deliver on new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of logistics experience, including 3+ years of hunter experience, and proven success in developing and winning new customer business.

Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities within Oceania, working with internal teams to leverage current clients, and managing pipeline growth and management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling key products and target areas within verticals, participating in evaluating and developing projects & new business opportunities, and coordinating project & pipeline planning.

Additionally, the Market Expansion Specialist will provide local industry information and analysis to customers & senior management, maintain market awareness regarding market developments, supply/demand, pricing, competition etc, and own and drive the development of solutions to customer business opportunities and tender requirements.

Preferred candidates will possess excellent influencing and negotiating skills, capability to develop new business with new customers, ability to canvas market and develop win strategy to deliver results, and strategic & consultative partnering with customers.

The role requires problem-solving skills, strong stakeholder engagement skills across multiple levels of customer organisations, and previous experience working within a fast and dynamic Sales environment.
