We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Hudson. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by generating sales qualified leads and opportunities for our portfolio of cloud-based business communications solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers to understand their business needs and requirements.
- Qualify leads and conduct needs analysis to identify potential customers' pain points and business status.
- Develop and nurture leads through regular follow-ups, building relationships and trust with key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with our agency team and vendor partners to coordinate sales activities and occasional events.
- Utilize CRM software to track and manage leads, update customer information, and document all communications accurately.
- Use vendor partner portals to leverage marketing resources, collateral, and sales enablement tools.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for sales qualified leads.
- Proven experience in a phone-based sales role, preferably in software or technology solutions (1-2 years of experience).
- Familiarity with cloud-based business communications and contact centre applications.
- Strong track record of success in lead qualification and prospecting.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and understand their business operations and pain points.
- Results-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed targets and deliver exceptional prospect interactions.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with our agency team and vendor partners.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track leads.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving vendor offerings and market conditions.
- A positive attitude, resilience, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic agency environment.
- Full training and development offered during a three-month induction period.
- Strong relationship with vendor partners through training, onboarding, regular system and marketing updates, online learning, and occasional in-person meetings or events.
- Collaboration with other staff to build and deliver on marketing initiatives and campaigns.
