Job SummaryWe're seeking a Principal Cloud Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our pre-sales team, you'll be responsible for shaping and delivering solutions related to all things Cloud within strategic key accounts.
You'll work closely with client deal teams to develop solutions for client engagements and support pre-sales to delivery handover. You'll also be a credible Cloud subject matter expert partner in the sales process and drive Versent's growth strategy through effective client engagement, advisory, and successful solutions.
Responsibilities- Act as a credible technical partner in the sales process and build customer confidence in the technical ability of Versent.
- Work with the client team to deliver on key account strategies and articulate client solutions into commercial documents.
- Analyse client enterprise specifics to find the best solution among all possible and create valuable and successful client solutions.
- Describe the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of the solution to project stakeholders.
- Define features, phases, and solution requirements.
- Provide specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered.
- Contribute to the outcomes in Proof of Value/Concept, YBR, Business Case development, customer demos, or leading-edge engagements, ensuring customer satisfaction in collaboration with Directors.
- Support the project management process and resolve technical problems as they arise.
- Assist the Director (Practices) to develop domain collateral for use in responding to proposals/bids and streamline project delivery and quality through proven/reusable domain delivery practices and methods.
- Responsible for delivering quality assurance from a technical perspective, ensuring technical practices respect Versent and our customers' compliance and security controls to ensure QA breaches do not occur.
We're looking for someone with a high level of technical and analytical knowledge in the relevant Cloud and proven experience in software architecture design.
Experience in a customer-facing, sales-aligned role such as Consultant, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect is essential.
You'll need an in-depth understanding of coding languages and a focus on customer needs and satisfaction by setting high standards for quality and throughput.
You'll also need to be able to influence the discussion with clients and demonstrate how business outcomes can be achieved with recommended solutions.
