Job Description

We are seeking a professional to join our team as a Partnership Development Specialist. As a key member of our organization, you will have the opportunity to work with purpose-driven individuals who share our vision of increasing options for people living with disability and their families.

Our organization is dedicated to delivering a human-centric service built on strong relationships with partners, support workers, and stakeholders. We aim to increase awareness of our unique service offerings within local communities through strategic partnerships and marketing efforts.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional people skills, be able to establish value-adding relationships, and communicate effectively with empathy. They will also be passionate, independent, and detail-oriented with high-level engagement or relationship management experience.

This role requires regional and interstate travel, approximately 50% of the time. The successful candidate will be based in our South Melbourne office or working from home when not on the road.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with potential partners and external stakeholders to understand sector needs and identify growth opportunities.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop activities increasing awareness of our service offerings within local communities.
  • Stay up-to-date with sector developments to understand challenges and opportunities, identifying new business development opportunities and improving partner experience.
Requirements
  • Possess a growth mindset and be passionate about making a difference.
  • Have high-level engagement or relationship management experience.
  • Be able to adapt communication styles and communicate effectively with empathy.
  • Be detail-oriented and able to work with ambiguity.
  • A background in NDIS (personal or professional) is desirable but not essential.
