To achieve this, we're building a high-performing team to take on outdated banking solutions. As our Partnerships Lead, you'll be responsible for negotiating, building, and developing relationships with partners across various industries.
Your goal will be to build our partnerships strategy, lead commercial discussions, and execute go-to-market approaches that form and successfully deploy these partnerships.
This end-to-end role requires a business leader who can deliver partnerships from initial outreach to scoping and launch, ongoing relationship management, identifying additional commercial opportunities, driving renegotiations, and partner co-marketing.
Role Responsibilities:
- Build a Partner Strategy and Pipeline by Identifying and building a robust pipeline of partners, with a specific focus on POS, Accounting, E-commerce, and Booking/Scheduling.
- Closely deals/secures agreements with partners.
- Develops a partner roadmap that aligns with product requirements, designed to add value through software integrations that enhance the merchant experience.
- Defines the strategy and value proposition of our Partnerships program, building our brand as a 'best-in-class' channel partner.
- Commercial Management: Develops commercial revenue models with partners, taking proposals through to contracting.
- Positions deals, and their strategic importance/priority to us for internal buy-in.
- Buids business cases/ROI/NPV/CAC models with partners to demonstrate value created.
- Collates presentations and engages with partner key stakeholders to win new partnership opportunities.
- Technical Implementation: Project manages partnership implementation from co-marketing partnerships to API integrations and collaborating with software engineering teams to develop new APIs.
- Prioritizes implementations with multiple partners according to customer needs, partner requirements, and software engineering capabilities.
- Monitors integration issues, resolves defects in sprint planning with software engineering teams.
- Partnership Performance Management: Monitors partnership performance, managing ongoing commercial arrangements and relationship health.
- Develops go-to-market plans to drive continued engagement within a partner's user base.
- Identifies opportunities for joint partnership campaigns and co-marketing efforts.
Requirements:
- Business leader with experience in partnership development and management.
- Strong understanding of commercial revenue models and negotiation techniques.
- Ability to project manage partnership implementation from co-marketing partnerships to API integrations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with software engineering processes and API development.
