Community Engagement Lead

We're seeking a Community Engagement Lead to provide strategic direction and governance of key community investments, including shared value partnerships, sponsorships, grants, workplace giving, and staff volunteering.

The role involves developing and implementing community programs and partnerships to benefit the organization and Australian communities. You will work in partnership with teams to develop and deliver marketing and communications plans supporting the community strategy and enhancing the brand and reputation.

You will foster strong relationships with Not-for-Profit partner organizations, community groups, Peak bodies, and regulatory authorities. Your role includes measuring and reporting progress and impact of community activity for stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has experience in delivering community programs and/or partnerships in a corporate or equivalent environment. A tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, community engagement, or community development is required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing operational plans for key community initiatives and projects.
  • Delivering workforce engagement programs in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.
  • Undertaking post-implementation analysis of campaign initiatives to ensure learnings are captured and drive improvements.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in delivering community programs and/or partnerships.
  • Tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, community engagement, or community development.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to adapt to organizational change and prioritize workload.
