Human Resources Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Stamford Hotels and Resorts. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our hotel operations, ensuring that our employees are equipped to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management
- Develop and manage the HR budget to ensure effective allocation of resources
- Work closely with the Finance team to identify areas of cost savings and implement process improvements
- Monitor and analyze HR-related expenses to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Customer Service
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention
- Provide coaching and training to employees to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional service to our guests
- Monitor and analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Process Improvement
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity
- Communication
- Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure effective communication between employees, management, and guests
- Provide regular updates to employees on company news and initiatives
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk and ensure a safe working environment
- System and People Management
- Develop and implement systems to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee development and training
- Monitor and analyze employee performance to identify areas for improvement
- Education and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Skills and Knowledge
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Technology savvy in and familiar with computer systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, HR systems and databases)
- In-depth knowledge of labour law, industrial relations, and HR best practices
