Salary & Benefits

$80,000 - $100,000 per annum, plus additional 2.5 weeks annual leave per year of service and opportunities for professional growth.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Therapeutic Live-in Carer to join our team, providing a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people with complex trauma or in Out-of-Home Care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage household duties and create a positive impact on the lives of those you support.
  • Provide age-appropriate care and support the goals established in the child or young person's Individual Care Plan.
  • Work collaboratively with schools and other professionals to identify barriers to education and facilitate learning from home activities.
  • Participate in social and recreational activities with the children and young people, promoting their emotional and behavioral development.
Requirements
  • Experience working with young people, particularly in therapeutic environments, and a relevant diploma qualification or equivalent experience.
  • A positive, resilient attitude and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and young people.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to work a week-on, week-off roster, including sleepover shifts.
  • Knowledge of the 9 dimensions of well-being and experience working with children and young people with complex trauma or in Out-of-Home Care.
