Mental Health Specialist

WA Country Health Service is seeking a Mental Health Specialist to join the Kimberley Mental Health and Drug Service, based at Broome Mental Health Unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will lead a team of healthcare professionals in delivering comprehensive mental health services across the Kimberley region.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health, with experience in leadership roles and clinical expertise in psychiatric care. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $526,978 per annum, plus benefits such as superannuation, relocation assistance, and access to professional development opportunities.
About the Role:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive mental health services
- Provide clinical leadership for Psychiatry Liaison Nurse Service
- Mentor junior medical staff and foster their growth while maintaining high standards of care
- Ensure compliance with Western Australian Mental Health Act (2014)
