About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Claims Manager to join our Member Insurance & Claims team. As a Claims Manager, you will be responsible for the case management and completion of a portfolio of claims on behalf of the Trustee.
You will proactively manage all claim types and claims handling activities from lodgment through to decision by the insurer or the Trustee. This includes establishing and maintaining professional and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, including members, beneficiaries, and their representatives, employers, insurers, the medical community, and other third parties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of claims from lodgment to completion
- Proactively resolving issues preventing claim progress and finalisation
- Delivering excellent service to Australian Retirement Trust customers and third parties in relation to all claims
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in death and/or insurance claims handling
- A genuine passion for customer service and the ability to inspire and lead others to outstanding customer experiences
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated business and commercial acumen
