Claims Portfolio Manager

As a Claims Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of domestic home property claims and delivering a best-in-market claims experience to our customers. You will achieve the most cost-effective and timely outcomes in accordance with policies and procedures.
About the RoleYou will be accountable for:
- Managing a portfolio of property claims;
- Reviewing for continuous improvement across claims and quality assurance;
- Providing technical support and feedback to the claims team;
- Assisting with coaching and training of team members;
- Staying updated across regulatory changes and industry themes and insights;
- Buidling and developing strong working relationships with our clients;
- Providing an escalation point to the team following complaints and/or technical queries;
- Attendance at stakeholder meetings/conferences/phone calls when required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous loss adjusting experience;
- The ability to work well autonomously as well as part of a team environment;
- A proven ability to manage complaints and disputed claims when required;
- A strong understanding of insurance principles, policies, and regulations;
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills;
- The ability to analyze data, assess risks, and provide effective solutions;
- Experience in relationship building and stakeholder management.
