As a Claims Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of domestic home property claims and delivering a best-in-market claims experience to our customers. You will achieve the most cost-effective and timely outcomes in accordance with policies and procedures.

About the Role

You will be accountable for:

  • Managing a portfolio of property claims;
  • Reviewing for continuous improvement across claims and quality assurance;
  • Providing technical support and feedback to the claims team;
  • Assisting with coaching and training of team members;
  • Staying updated across regulatory changes and industry themes and insights;
  • Buidling and developing strong working relationships with our clients;
  • Providing an escalation point to the team following complaints and/or technical queries;
  • Attendance at stakeholder meetings/conferences/phone calls when required.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous loss adjusting experience;
  • The ability to work well autonomously as well as part of a team environment;
  • A proven ability to manage complaints and disputed claims when required;
  • A strong understanding of insurance principles, policies, and regulations;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills;
  • The ability to analyze data, assess risks, and provide effective solutions;
  • Experience in relationship building and stakeholder management.
