Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Support Professional to join our team. As a Senior Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing active support, health support, positive behaviour support, and safeguarding to individuals with disability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop personal interests and provide personal care, transportation, and coach independent living skills;
  • Administer and document medication and follow health support plans;
  • Manage behaviour triggers and escalation using positive behaviour support techniques;
  • E nsure the safety of yourself and the participant through effective safeguarding practices.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated motivation to work with people with disability;
  • Advanced Diploma in Individual Support/Disability or equivalent;
  • Availability to fulfill a rotating roster including weekends and overnights;
  • Experience working with diverse behaviours;
  • NDS Worker Check;
  • National Police Check;
  • Driver's license;
  • First aid certificate;
  • Up-to-date Covid vaccinations.
