Heavy Equipment Sales Development Manager

This is a dynamic and exciting role for a machinery enthusiast. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales of heavy equipment, working with both buyers and sellers to facilitate and grow auction sales.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To secure consignments of heavy equipment and fill the auction yard ahead of each sale date.
  • To grow the territory through superior new business development skills and maximise consignments using established network contacts in the industry.
  • To feed the sales site and utilise the opportunity to consign equipment to any Euro Auctions sale site around the world, thereby maximising earning potential.
  • To spot opportunities and negotiate effectively to maximise sales from new and existing customers.

Requirements:

  • A proven sales record with minimum 4 years experience in the Construction, Agriculture or Transport Sector.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Attendance at relevant auctions.
  • An already established network of contacts within the industry.
  • An excellent knowledge of the current national and global market.
  • An already grown knowledge of the Auction industry, buying, selling, and bid-catching at Auctions.
