
Business Growth Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Business Growth Specialist to identify and pursue new business opportunities across key industry sectors. This role plays a pivotal part in developing and implementing growth strategies, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across key industry sectors (civil, construction Tier 1 & 2, utilities, infrastructure).
- Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Act as a key point of contact for major projects, tenders, and supplier agreements.
- Resolve issues promptly, working with internal teams to ensure high service levels.
- Develop and execute a region sales plan aligned to regional and state growth goals.
- Track and analyse sales metrics, ensuring visibility on progress to targets.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with customers at all levels—site, procurement, and head office.
- Generate leads and drive new business, keeping abreast of industry trends, competition, and market conditions.
- Preferred experience selling to the construction industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Experience using CRM (Salesforce).
- Demonstrated ability to build strong and influential relationships.
- Good commercial awareness with a passion and drive to succeed.
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of results.
- Self-motivated, driven, and familiar with remote working conditions.
