Founded in 1860 in Florence as a workshop, shop, and subsequent school of watch-making, Panerai is renowned for producing high-precision instruments for the Italian Navy with a pulse on innovation and function. Protected by military secrets, these creations were only launched in the International market when the brand was acquired by the Richemont Group in 1997.


Today, as a Sales and Operations Executive at Panerai, you will be part of a dynamic team that advances through cutting-edge research, sustainability, and empowering modern heroes with a passion for watchmaking excellence. Your key role will be to manage merchandising activities to achieve the overall sales target as defined for the market.


Your Mission


Reporting to the Panerai Brand Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and driving the Retailization & Operational Excellence roadmap in Australia and New Zealand via all operational systems and processes. Your duties and responsibilities will include:



  1. Merchandising management, managing optimal product supply and market allocation strategy, working in collaboration with the SEA Operations team and marketing team.
  2. Customer & Retailer relationship management as a Panerai ambassador providing best-in-class service level and maintaining a strong relationship with retailers and all POS and boutique teams.
  3. Manage all operational systems as per Brand/HQ Guidelines as the local key user, as well as implementing, driving, and improving local operations processes.
  4. Provide active feedback and recommendations based on operations systems and processes to further drive sales, providing support to the Brand Manager to actively monitor discontinued stocks and implement strategies to reduce exposure.
  5. Reporting preparation, coordination, and submission, including assisting in the yearly strategic plan.
  6. Support network management with new projects and working with the Marketing Executive to follow closely VM, maintenance, and repairs and ensure that display materials are timely and adequate, so that Panerai is impeccably represented.
  7. Assist in developing sales strategies, forecasts, and execution.
  8. Lead the implementation and follow-up of all retail operations projects and New Retail projects, being the referent on boutique operations, retail procedures, systems, and IT.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • SAP/BI experience will be highly regarded.
