Lead Infection Prevention Initiatives

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate effective infection prevention plans

  • Conduct data collection, surveillance, and mandatory reporting to health authorities to inform strategic decision-making
  • Respond to infectious outbreaks and provide expert guidance to minimize disruption
Required Expertise:
  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Minimum 4 years of clinical nursing experience with a focus on infection control
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in infection prevention and control
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire cross-functional collaboration
