Job Title: Culinary Operations Manager

Catholic Healthcare is seeking an experienced Culinary Operations Manager to manage the smooth operation of our commercial kitchen and dining service at a new home on the Central Coast.

  • Plan and prepare fresh and nutritious meals for residents in line with their dietary needs and wants
  • Manage all resources within the kitchen including equipment and food supplies
  • Maintain a hygienically clean kitchen that is fully compliant with quality standards
  • Consult with residents on menu design and meal times
  • Prepare texture modified diets and supplements
  • Ensure all meals are visually well presented
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide food for special events

Requirements:

  • A passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Strong customer-centric approach and relationship-building skills
  • Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Ability to build relationships with older people
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) is preferred
  • Competent using computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
