Job Summary

The Risk Framework & Reporting Manager will be responsible for monitoring risk performance against internal risk appetite and providing insights through data analysis. This role requires coordination and delivery of various risk reporting needs, including quarterly reports to senior management, and assisting in the implementation of risk culture programs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of risk reporting needs, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Assist in reviewing and maintaining the Risk Management Framework for Northern Trust Australia, ensuring alignment with global frameworks.
  • Advise first lines on the application of Risk Management Framework elements.
  • Integrate risk into the business planning process through review of risk appetite and line 2 risk assessment of strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor risk performance against appetite and use KRIs and metrics to report on risk management.
  • Conduct risk culture assessments and develop action plans to support maturity.
  • Support the development and implementation of risk culture frameworks and measurement methodologies.
  • Deliver annual risk management declarations to APRA, including documenting supporting risk assessment and evidence.
  • Provide secretarial support to the CRO as secretary for the Australia Risk Management Committee.
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Business/Law/Risk or related fields preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of experience working in risk management within Australia's financial services or APRA regulated entities.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, risk culture, and APRA/ASIC risk management requirements.
  • Proven experience delivering high-quality and timely deliverables.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze information for insights.
  • Data analytics and reporting experience with visualization software highly regarded.
  • Experience in stakeholder management or proven ability to influence stakeholders.
