This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our purpose and strategy by supporting the Manager Risk Frameworks in ensuring our Risk Management Framework remains up-to-date, embedded across the organisation, and compliant with APRA's CPS220 Risk Management Standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the management of the Group Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) including coordinating annual reviews across all Risk types, partnering with Material Risk Owner teams to review and update qualitative statements and metrics as required, monitoring and oversight the reporting of the RAS dashboard.
  • Support the management of the Group Risk Management Strategy (RMS), including coordinating annual reviews across all Risk types, partnering with Material Risk Owner teams to review and update as required, considering emerging issues arising from Risk Committees.
  • Facilitate effective, consistent, and regular reporting to Risk Committees for RAS and RMS.
  • Assist the Manager Risk Frameworks in ensuring Group standards and procedure documents are kept up-to-date and current for ANZ's Risk Management Framework.
Requirements:
  • Experience/knowledge of risk management principles and practices.
  • Self-driven leadership skills with ability to establish, build, and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and influence/negotiate change with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional/risk-based manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Risk management experience in the Financial Services industry or large/international organisations.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
  • Resilience and fast-paced approach with a strong growth mindset.
