Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chef with exceptional leadership skills to oversee our kitchen operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a talented group of culinary professionals while delivering outstanding dining experiences to our customers.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new menu items and specials that showcase your creativity and attention to detail.



  • Maintain the highest standards of quality, presentation, and consistency across all dishes served in our cafe.



  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and confidence in a supportive and inclusive environment.



  • Analyse customer feedback and adjust recipes or preparation methods to meet evolving tastes and preferences.



  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continually looking for opportunities to innovate and improve our offerings.



  • Ensure seamless communication and collaboration among kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth service and efficient workflow.




Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:



  • 5+ years of experience in senior chef roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.



  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful menus, resulting in increased sales and customer satisfaction.



  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.



  • Excellent knowledge of food safety protocols, equipment operation, and inventory management techniques.



  • Able to work effectively under pressure, prioritising tasks and maintaining composure during peak service periods.
