Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Chef with exceptional leadership skills to oversee our kitchen operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a talented group of culinary professionals while delivering outstanding dining experiences to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement new menu items and specials that showcase your creativity and attention to detail.
Maintain the highest standards of quality, presentation, and consistency across all dishes served in our cafe.
Supervise and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and confidence in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Analyse customer feedback and adjust recipes or preparation methods to meet evolving tastes and preferences.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continually looking for opportunities to innovate and improve our offerings.
Ensure seamless communication and collaboration among kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth service and efficient workflow.
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:
5+ years of experience in senior chef roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful menus, resulting in increased sales and customer satisfaction.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Excellent knowledge of food safety protocols, equipment operation, and inventory management techniques.
Able to work effectively under pressure, prioritising tasks and maintaining composure during peak service periods.
