About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Family Healthcare Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our family-centered practice. Your expertise will be essential in managing patient flow, coordinating appointments, and delivering exceptional service that enhances patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care and communication, including warm greetings, inquiry management, and coordination with our Health Navigator.
  • Owning scheduling for our multidisciplinary team, managing electronic health records, and coordinating diagnostic tests and referrals.
  • Providing training and mentorship to team members, collaborating with clinical staff to enhance patient flow and clinic efficiency, and contributing to policy development.
  • Coordinating special services, managing medical supplies, supporting new service implementation, and working cross-functionally with the marketing team.
Requirements
  • A proven track record as a Medical Office Assistant, ideally with experience in pediatric and family-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A driven problem solver with a growth mindset, passionate about enhancing operations and patient care.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and knowledge of preventative health practices and holistic wellness.
Work Arrangements

This is a full-time position located at 555 Superior Street, Victoria BC. The estimated annual salary for this role is $53,760-$58,240 based on a 37.5-hour workweek.
