Key Role: ER Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our People and Culture team as a highly valued and credible advisory service provider.

The successful candidate will co-lead a team of IR & ER Specialists, driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives in employee relations. A thorough understanding of the Department's values and policies is essential for this role.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Co-lead a team to deliver exceptional employee relations services, enabling the Department to adopt a people-first approach.
  • Represent the Department in meetings and negotiations with NSW IRC and legal proceedings as required.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships internally to engage and influence key stakeholders in resolving complex IR & ER situations.

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent skills including:

  • A customer-centric mindset with expertise in industrial relations and employee relations frameworks in NSW.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with excellent written and report writing skills.
  • Able to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
